Proving that a twenty five millimeters thick Minecrete application, provides active support after one hour, and matches the forty MPA shotcrete twenty eight day strengths within the first twenty four hours.

Additional research and development into Minecretes preparation and application efficiency has been focused on material rheology, plastic viscosity and pumpability with excellent results.

At the nozzle, extra low rebound and the thixotropy design of Minecrete prevents the material from slumping on vertical or dripping on horizontal application surfaces, providing an even coverage, and further increasing application quality while making excellent reductions to application material waste.

WHAT IS MINECRETE?

Minecrete is the industries first shotcrete hybrid material that was initially developed through the combination of Altecrete’s shotcrete and Tunnelguard thin sprayed liner technologies. Producing a rapid curing, ultra strong, cementitious sealant, and structural support liner that bonds and cures in wet and dry conditions.

The inherited Tunnelguard thin sprayed liner properties, makes it a watertight application that seals, protects, and supports various friable rock types by blocking weathering oxidation and preventing self mining before it starts, preserving and supporting the excavations for long term mining.

The inherited shotcrete properties, adds structural weight bearing strength when applied at twenty five millimeters or higher thickness. Creating an ultra strong weight bearing protective Minecrete shell.

In deep level hard rock mining conditions, where excavation fracturing is a common and dangerous problem. Minecrete fills and seals the fractures, binding the blocks together. This inhibits key-block movement, which prevents fall of ground fatalities or injuries. Making Minecrete an important part of seismicity management planning, improving safety and labour confidence.
