Tunnel Guard is a thin cementitious spray on liner (TSL) that provides robust structural secondary support and consolidates various problematic rock types. Tunnel Guard penetrates deep into the rock mass along open fractures and joints, acting as a hard rough gouge that fills and increases the cohesion across the fractures. This strengthens the rock mass and limits the ability of the rock fabric to move.
